Speaking to ZANIS at Bwalya Mponda Primary School today the District Education Board Secretary cited transport as one of the challenges in the district that the running of examination was faced with.

Mrs Chipolo said it was difficult to monitor all the schools during the examinations period given the transport challenges adding that some schools go unmonitored due to the difficulties of accessing them in terms of logistics.

The Standards Officer said from the three schools that were scheduled to be monitored in the district the office only managed to check on r two.

And Chafye primary school Head Teacher Innocent Lubumbe said it was demotivating for the teachers to  be paying for the transportation of examination papers .

He has since called on the government through the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training to look into the matter saying the teachers at Chafye weare not happy with the prevailing situation.
