Chief Kafwimbi allocates development land

Isoka, 14 october, 2014, ZANIS…Chief Kafwimbi of Isoka district in Muchinga province has allocated undisclosed amount of land to government for various developmental projects in the district.

This came to light during a general meeting held at Kafwimbi Primary School in Isoka recently.

ZANIS reports that the traditional leader said the stretch between Isoka Trades Institute and Edmundrise Secondary School has been surrendered to the state for developmental purposes.

Chief Kafwimbi said the barren land on the said stretch along the Great North Road has been given to the Government in order to extend development to other areas apart from the Boma town which he said will also improve the lives of his subjects in future.

He further disclosed that he has also surrendered land for the construction of Ebola treatment and burial site to the Ministry of Health.

Chief Kafwimbi has since urged his subjects to work tirelessly and contribute to the development strides currently taking place in the district.

He said such amount of development happening in Isoka has never been seen before therefore, it should be protected and guarded jealously as it is another way of securing future developments and the future of generations to come.

Chief Kafwimbi has further warned his subject not to encroach or sale any piece of land that has been given to Government.

He said he will not allow or defend anyone be it a headman or an ordinary individual involved in such vices of selling land illegally.

The traditional leader said he will ensure that culprits are visited by the wrath of the law.
