Mr Chisala also said it is important for civil servants in the district to unite and work as a team to develop the district.
He urged civil servants to harbour the spirit of reporting early and show commitment towards work
He advised civil servants to avoid drinking while on duty adding that drinking does not add value to work.
ZANIS reports that the deputy minister said this when he addressed civil servants in Milenge yesterday.
And speaking earlier when he addressed women groups, Chisala urged women to take the responsibility of educating girls.
He said the numbers of early marriages in rural areas were unacceptable and the government was concerned about the morals in young people.
He said there is need for government and parents to work together so that cases of early marriages could be reduced.
Chisala also urged women to form women clubs and acquire resources from government so that the challenges of educating their children would be reduced.
