Unknown people have broken into one of the offices at Luwingu Magistratet in Northern Province and have gotten away with three curtains and electric adaptor worth K215.00.

Both Magistrate Davy Simfukwe and District Administrative Officer Deodatus Munsungwe confirmed the development to the Zambia News and information Services (ZANIS) in luwingu today.

Mr Munsungwe said the robbers also broke a window at the Clerk’s office and that of the Magistrates office and stole stole toilet disinfectants.

“Thieves stole Ajax, Jik and Harpic in the toilets and left the place,” he said.

Mr Munsungwe has since appealed to heads of government department to secure their offices by installing security bulbs to light up their offices at night.

He said the criminals took advantage of the darkness and stole the named items as there was no proper lighting at the Magistrate court’s Office especially behind.
