Aspiring Kabwata Member of Parliament Clement Tembo has observed that the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) is increasing becoming an attractive political party to join following President Michael Sata’s decision to dismiss Wynter Kabimba from the position of party Secretary General.

Mr. Tembo says President Sata has basically responded to earlier calls of the need for restructuring in the ruling PF.

He has told Qfm news that Mr. Kabimba is however not the only individual such restructuring should focus on as he believes that there are still other elements that will still need to be cleaned in the PF.

Mr. Tembo says he is therefore happy that the ruling party has begun its won cleaning process which he says other opposition political parties such as the United Party for National Development (UPND) and the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) should emulate.

He says he is of the view that time is now ripe for all political parties in the country to sit down and assess themselves as to whether they are ready for the 2016 general elections or not.

Mr. Tembo says this is because people in the country are now looking forward to which political party they should associate with.

He notes that it is for this reason that he thinks restructuring in the ruling PF is long overdue.
