Zambian He- men to flex muscles at regional championship
Lusaka, August 22, ZANIS— Zambia Body Building and Fitness Federation (ZBBFF) has declared the Zambian team ready ahead of the Southern African Bodybuilding Championship to be held in Lusaka.
Federation President Danny Mkandawire disclosed that the 20 man Zambian team has since intensified its preparations in readiness for the crucial tournament.
Mkandawire told ZANIS Sports in a telephone interview in Lusaka today that all the bodybuilders are training in their respective gymnasiums in Lusaka and the Copperbelt province.
Zambia will be hosting the regional bodybuilding and fitness competition on September 26, 2014 at the Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka.
Reigning National champion Sylvester Mwila is among the top 20 Zambian bodybuilders expected to take part in this year’s regional championship.
Other Zambian body builders expected to participate in the championship are Emmanuel Mwale, Mervin Mweemba, Justin Chipilu and Host Milupi.
The 20 man Zambian body builders’ team will compete for medals against their colleagues from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Malawi and Botswana.
