Aspiring candidate for Kasempa constituency in the 2016 general elections Tobias Kafumukache says young people should take part in issues of national development.

Mr Kafumukache says this is because the youths are a  driving force of any developing nation.

Mr Kafumukache said this in an interview with ZANIS in Lusaka today.

He said youths should be responsible for their lives by being focused and embracing opportunities that come their way in order to be fruitful.

He stated that as aspiring candidate for the 2016 Kasempa parliamentary election he was ready to work with innovative youths to ensure that their needs were met once he was voted into parliament.

Mr Kafumukache commended Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba and veteran politician Vernon Mwanga for advocating the cause for youths to take responsibility for national development.

He said young people should use their charisma to rally behind the PF government in their quest to bring development to Zambia.

He said the PF government’s strides to bring development to the fore is evidenced  by enhanced  infrastructure development seen across the country.

Mr Kafumukache is former opposition Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) National Youth Secretary and current Executive Director of the non-governmental organization Shalom Training and Multi-development Project.
