Mbala DEBS happy with mal-practice free exams

 

Mbala, Luangwa, June, 19, 2014, ZANIS —   THE ZAMBIA NATIONAL UNION OF TEACHERS (ZNUT) leadership in Mbala has commended the office of the district education board secretary for conducting 2014 GCE examinations without malpractices.

 

 

ZNUT district chairperson Lazarous Tembo said this in a walking – in interview with ZANIS in Mbala District today.

 

Mr. Tembo praised the DEBS for the proper coordination and involvement of all key stakeholders to ensure the examinations were malpractice free.

 

Mr. Tembo said strong security measures was put place before, during and after the examinations to safeguard the examination papers and answer sheets.

 

He said prior to the commencement of the examinations, candidates, supervisors and invigilators were warned of the consequences of any examination malpractice behavior or conduct.

 

The ZNUT chairperson advised the DEBS office and examination centre officials at Mbala secondary school to maintain the status quo even for the forthcoming examinations in October to December period.
