Zambians are determined to have a new constitution – Chipenzi

The Grand Coalition for a people driven Constitution says the Zambian people are determined to have the final draft constitution released.

Coalition Spokesperson McDonald Chipenzi has told Q-News in an interview that the Coalition will not relent in pressing for the release of the final draft constitution.

Mr. Chipenzi says the Zambian people will not allow the PF government to dictate the pace of the constitution making process.

He states that the constitution is a people’s document, and that the Coalition will not sit back and allow government do whatever they feel like doing with the constitution making process as long as it remains a people’s document.

Mr. Chipenzi has since challenged the PF government to come out in the open and tell the people of Zambia its concrete position on the Constitution rather than confusing the people with contradicting statements.
