Oyati calls for in PF

Kaoma, March 30th, 2014, ZANIS —–  Western province Patriotic Front Member of the central committee (MCC) Winnie Oyati has called for peace and harmony among PF members in the newly created Luampa district.

 

And  speaking earlier, Western province minister and Luampa constituency Member of Parliament Josephine Limata expressed sadness by the death of her PF councilor in the district.

 

 

Mrs.  Oyati  said the untimely death of the only duly elected PF councilor in Namando ward in Luampa constituency has the robbed the party leadership PF of the much needed human resource.

 

She said this yesterday at a burial ceremony of a three week’s old PF Namando ward councilor Felix Muthala.

 

 

Mrs Oyati said the PF under the leadership of President Michael Sata does not segregate but wants to unite everybody so that the party is strengthened at the grass root levels.

 

 

She said President Sata cannot work alone to bring development in the country but that people should come closer to him especially in Luampa district so that meaningful development is attained in the district.

 

Mrs Oyati who delivered a message of condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of President Sata urged them to mourn the late PF councilor Muthala in peace and focus their loss to God the Almighty.

 

 

And speaking earlier, Western province minister and Luampa constituency Member of Parliament Josephine Limata expressed sadness by the death of her PF councilor in the district.

 

 

The late PF councilor Felix Muthala won the just ended February 25, 2014 local government by-elections in Namando ward by beating his rivals by 344 votes against Kaumba Chinyama for UPND with 146 votes while UNIP’s Matomola Namangolwa who got 62 votes.
