The Grand Coalition championing the speedy enactment of the new Republican constitution has vowed that no amount of intimidation from either government or the Police will stop it from championing its cause.

Coalition Spokesperson MacDonald Chipenzi says the agenda has been set and that the coalition is resolved to ensuring that it puts the necessary pressure on government to deliver what it promised the people of Zambia.

Mr Chipenzi has since revealed that Coalition will soon be in Southern Province to hold various prayer meetings for the release of the final draft constitution after successfully holding similar meetings in Chipata.

He has since urged residents of Southern Province to turn out in numbers and attend the prayer meetings.

And Chipenzi says the fight for the release of the final draft constitution is a fight for all Zambians.

Mr. Chipenzi says it is important that Zambians turn to God for intervention in the fight for a people driven constitution, stating that with divine intervention the final draft constitution will be released.

He states that the meetings being held in churches on the constitution mean no harm.
