Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) President Edith Nawakwi has maintained that finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda and bank of Zambia governor Micheal Gondwe should resign for failing to control the economy.

Ms. Nawakwi has told Qfm news in an interview that Mr. Chikwanda had indicated that he will not listen to people from the streets when stakeholders spoke against the implementation of the SIS 33 and 55 but wonders why he has now accepted to revoke the two statutory instruments.

Ms. Nawakwi charges that both Mr. Chikwanda and BoZ Governor Micheal Gondwe have no numerical capacity to analyze the country’s economy and they should be retired.

She stresses that it is unfortunate that Mr. Chikwanda has only accepted after destroying the economic future of the country after what majority Zambians have hard earned worked for.

The FDD Leader further adds that the two are tired and they should step down.
