Nevers to sue the Post

MMD president Nevers Mumba says he has instructed his lawyers to sue the Post Newspapers for allegedly publishing false news about him.

Reacting today’s lead story in the Newspaper suggesting that he has been living a flamboyant life style a move which has forced some of the MMD members of parliament to withdraw their financial support to the party, Dr. Mumba has told QFM News in an interview that the allegations are false and baseless.

He says he does not and has never gotten any monies’ from MMD members of parliament to sustain his living.

Dr Mumba explains that he has since instructed his lawyers to sue the Post Newspapers for publishing what he has described as a false story which has the potential to discredit his integrity.

The MMD president says he wants those with information about him getting money from MMD members of parliament to come out in the open and prove their allegations in court.
