Litunga’s wife put to rest

Queen Moyo Imwambo wife of King Lubosi Imwiko II of the Lozi Speaking people who who died on Monday last week was today put to rest   in Mongu, Western Province.
The queen remains have been buried in Mutwi Wambwa area along Mongu-Senanga road.
Thousands of people that included senior government officials the clergy, and members of the community turned out in large numbers to witness the burial of her late royal highness.
The Barotse Royal Establishment praised President Michael and the PF government for support the rendered to the royal family during the queen’s illness.
Meanwhile, Mongu Central Member of Parliament Nathaniel Mubukwanu bemoaned the absence of his fellow MPs at the funeral.
Mubukwanu wondered why the entire 17 MP in the Province could not be available for the royal family.
