U-17 WOMEN’S TEAM INTENSIFIES TRAINING ( March 6th)

The World Cup bound Zambia U17 womens team, currently in camp in San Francisco, has intensified training with Head Coach Albert Kachinga taking the team through some tactical formations during the Monday sessions held at Marin Academy fields.

Despite the chilly weather currently prevailing in San Francisco, the training sessions attracted a horde of coaches from Girls football clubs around the state of California who made several enquiries about the star players.Also present were members of the press.

Later in the afternoon, the Zambian lasses held joint boostele sessions with the Marin Academy girls team to unwind the days intensive sessions.

The Team had its first friendly match on Wednesday against University of California girls team.

The team departs for Costa Rica on 11th March to go and make its maiden appearance at the FIFA U17 Womens world cup that kicks off on 15 March
