Police in Kalabo have recovered an unidentified body of a man believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35.

District Police Officer- In-Charge, Kim Masambo, who confirmed the development to ZANIS in Kalabo, said the body was found in a decomposed state in a nearby bush in Sifula village.

Mr Masambo explained that police could not ask members of the public to help in identifying the body because of its state.

The body has since been buried with consent from the village headman.

“The dead person was wearing a gray jersey, a pair of black jeans and a brown belt and so far no family has come forward to report of a missing person,” Mr Masambo explained.

The police office-in-charge called on members of the public to be on the lookout of any missing family member so that police could help where necessary.

Two weeks ago, police buried another unidentified decomposed body of a female in the same area.
