National Restoration Party (NAREP) President Elias Chipimo has charged that the ruling Patriotic Front’s fight against corruption is selective.

Mr. Chipimo observes that President Michael Sata is quick to act on junior Ministers accused of involvement in corruption and remains silent when it is Cabinet Ministers involved.

Mr. Chipimo says the President is quick to act on the basis of accusations against junior ministers while he throws a ring of protection around Cabinet Ministers.

He adds that there is nothing praise about the dropping of Ronald Chitotela and Rodgers Mwewa as Labour and Agriculture deputy ministers.

Mr. Chipimo says the country should not be claiming any victory in fight against corruption because there is still a lot to be done.

Meanwhile Mr. Chipimo says women and youths play an important role in the country.

Speaking in Kitwe today, Mr Chipimo says if women would come out in the open and speak out when things go wrong, things would change for the better.

Mr. Chipimo notes that it is sad that the people of Zambia are still living like slaves even after independence lacking quality healthcare among other services.

He has urged the women to get united and press for change that will bring in a leader full of energy and ready to embrace everyone.
