The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) says there is need for the PF government to clearly tell the nation the approach it has either take or will take in the fight against corruption.

SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says this will help stop the issuance of conflicting statements among senior government officials on the status of corruption in government.

Mr. Cheembe says clear communication on the fight against corruption will not only minimize the extent of exchanges among senior party members in public, but will also go a long way in having a united voice on the fight against corruption.

Mr. Cheembe adds that the PF government should further clearly state whether corruption is being fought within the PF government or outside the government in order for people in the country to contribute to the PF’s vision to curb the vice in the country.

And Mr. Cheembe has told Qfm in an interview the ACC’s decline to institute investigations against the alleged corrupt officials in the PF government due to insufficient details should serve as a lesson for people to be always sure of the allegations they make relating to any corrupt practices.
