Mazambuaka Member of Parliament Garry Nkombo has consoled Transport, Communication Works and supply Minister Yamfwa Mukanga not to take to heart the castigation he has been receiving from President Michael Sata lately.
Contributing to policy debate on the ministry of works and supply in Parliament today, Mr Nkombo says he has known Mr Mukanga from their school days and considers him an accomplished Engineer.
Mr Nkombo notes that Mukanga and officials in his ministry are under a lot of pressure because of the huge responsibilities bestowed on the ministry following merging of the ministries of works and supply and Transport and Communication.
Mr Nkombo encouraged Mr Mukanga to soldier on stating that he has known him to be a hard working person stretching back from their school days.
Mr Mukanga has recently found himself on the receiving end of President Michael Sata’s wrath for failing to implement and complete projects on time.
