The Center for Policy Dialogue (CPD) has demanded for the full translation into tangible development, the 2011 campaign promises that the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) made prior getting into power.
Executive Director Neo Simutanyi says this is because the PF came to power on a platform of promoting pro-poor economic growth.
Dr. Simutanyi has recalled that the ruling PF also claimed to represent the generality of the poor and the underprivileged.
Dr. Simutanyi further notes that two years down the line the demands to sustain pro-poor growth are still growing louder amongst the people in the country.
Mr. Simutanyi has called on the PF government to prioritize areas where it has failed in the coming year in order that it sustains its intended pro-poor economic growth.
