Airtel salutes media

– New Airtel Managing Director (MD), Charity Chanda Lumpa, has called on the media to continue being proactive in their line of duty.

 

And Ms Lumpa says Airtel recognizes the media as important stakeholders in enlightening society on the importance of economic development and telecommunication in particular.

 

She disclosed that numerous products and services have been launched and will continue to be launched with the intention of enriching the lifestyles of individuals and businesses.

 

Ms Lumpa was speaking during a media meeting in Lusaka yesterday.

 

Ms Lumpa also disclosed that Airtel has for some time now continued to positively impact the communities through its programmes by creating laboratories in schools and colleges countrywide.

 

She appealed to the public to utilize various promotions that Airtel offers, such as ‘Airtel money’, which could allow customers transfer money and to purchase their goods using the service.

 

Ms Lumpa said Airtel Money allows customers to purchase ZESCO pre paid units, pay bills at Lusaka Water and make DStv payments.
