Randy Teacher nabbed for rape in Chikankanta
Mazabuka, July 4th, 2013, 2013, ZANIS —- Police in Chikankata district have arrested a teacher at a named school who ended up defiling one of his pupils at the school.
The named teacher is alleged to defiled one of his pupils after he forced her to consume alcohol and ended up having sex with her.
ZANIS reports from Mazabuka reports that Southern Province commissioner Charity Katanga who could neither deny nor confirm the incidence.
However Police sources in the area confirmed the incident in an interview, yesterday.
The sources disclosed that they are holding a named teacher to help them with investigations into the incidence that occurred on Sunday evening.
The sources said that that was soon after the closure of the Chikankata District Agriculture and Commercial Show.
The teacher after the show allegedly enticed the named girl and her friend to join him for a drinking spree at Kakumbi Kanini bar and night club where he bought them unreasonable amounts of beers.
The sources disclosed that upon realizing that the girls were drunk, the teacher dragged one of the girls he was attracted with to one of the corridors within the premises where he undressed the girl before forcing himself on her.
However the teacher who was recently deployed to the school was apprehended by alert security personnel working at the night club who found him red handed and still on top of the girl.
The teacher was apprehended and arrested by way of tying his hands using tree fibers before being taken to the nearby police post while the disillusioned girl was rushed to Chikankata mission hospital for medical attention.
The police sources said the teacher has been charged with rape and will appear in court this week to answer the charges.
