40 year old Chinsali defiler commits suicide
Chinsali, June 11, 2013. ZANIS… A 40-year old man of Chinsali
district has committed suicide after allegedly defiling a minor.
And an unidentified man has died after being hit by a vehicle alone
The Chinsali-Mundu road in Kampemba village.
Deputy Police Commissioner for Muchinga Province Chilije Nyirenda
confirmed both incidents to the Zambia News and Information Services
(ZANIS) in an interview in Chinsali today.
In the suicide case, Mr. Nyirenda identified the deceased as Timothy
Mumba Chibale ,40, of Choshi village in senior chief Nkula`s area.
Mr. Nyirenda said Chibale committed suicide last week on Friday around 09:00 hours
by taking a poisonous substances called rogor.
He explained that the deceased was taken to Chinsali district
community hospital where he was admitted and later died around 13:30
hours on the same day.
Chibale s’ body is currently lying in Chinsali district community
hospital mortuary awaiting burial.
And an unidentified man has died after being hit by a Toyota Corolla
Registration Number ALK 6097 in Chinsali district of Muchinga
Province.
Mr. Nyirenda said the man was hit on Friday around 15:20 hours
along Chinsali-Mundu road in Kampemba Village.
He narrated that the an unidentified cyclist sustained multiple head
injuries and died upon arrival at Chinsali district community
hospital.
Mr. Nyirenda said the body of the deceased is lying in Chinsali
district community hospital mortuary awaiting a post-mortem.
