He said an educated human resource was key to national development and education should be from nursery to tertiary education delivered by qualified teachers at all the levels.

Mr Willombe said teachers should play a pivotal role in the development of a critical educated Zambian cadre that should drive national development.

He condemned the practice of  early marriages saying it should be fought because it was retrogressive and a hindrance to national development.
