Vice President Guy Scott says it is sad that Lukulu West Constituency has remained undeveloped for so many years in terms of communication and infrastructure.

Dr. Scott says without good roads, schools, health centres in a given place, there cannot be meaningful development.

Dr. Scott said this yesterday in Lukulu at a public rally held at Sitwala basic school to drum up support for PF candidate Ireen Imbwae.

He regretted that the previous MMD government had neglected Lukulu West Constituency despite being in power for 20 years.

He promised the people of Sitwala area and Lukulu as a whole that the Patriotic Front government would do everything possible within its means to steer development.

Dr. Scott told the Sitwala electorates to vote for Ms. Imbwae so that development could be accelerated and not to make a mistake by voting for the opposition candidate because s/he will have no capacity to bring development to the area.

And Ms. Imbwae said she is a credible, morally upright person suitable for the people in the area and once voted as a Member of Parliament, she would work selflessly.

Ms. Imbwae said the opposition is marred with mudslinging hence wasting time instead of concentrating on offering solutions to develop not only Lukulu but the nation as a whole.

The Veep is accompanied by Community Development Mother and Child Health Deputy Minister Jean Kapata and senior PF party and government officials.
