Renard in Northern in search of football talents

————–Northern Province Permanent Secretary Hlobota Nkunika has implored youths in the province to take advantage of the visit by National Coach Herve Renard to show case their talents.

 

Mr Nkunika said this in Kasama yesterday when Herve Renard paid a courtesy call on him at his office.

 

He said it is very important that the national team coach picked Northern province as one area to source for potential future national team players especially talented in football.

 

Mr. Nkunika said youths in the province are very excited  over the move and are looking forward to the tournament.

 

The Permanent Secretary said Zambians have a keen interest in football hence giving an overwhelming response to football tournament meant selecting good future players.

 

He praised the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) for coming up with the initiative to tap talent from Provinces and hoped that most of the players will be selected from his province.

 

And the National Team Coach Herve Renard said he is going round the country to hunt for potential youth’s that would in turn play for the national soccer team.

 

Renard said it was vital to source for vibrant young men who can continue raising the Zambian Flag in soccer and has  promised to train upcoming players to the best expectations.

 

Renard is in Kasama for a two day trail tournament.
