—The Food Reserve Agency (FRA) says it will commence the marketing season for this year in three months time.
FRA Executive Director, Chola Kafwabulula, disclosed the agency is already preparing for the marketing season and everything is proceeding smoothly.
Mr Kafwabulula stated that the procurement of various marketing requisites is currently going on well.
This is according to information obtained by ZANIS from the Agency’s Press and Public Relations Unit in Lusaka.
The FRA Director added that so far, empty grain bags which have in the past proved a challenge to procure are available in readiness for the marketing season.
Mr Kafwabulula said the agency is doing everything possible to ensure that challenges it faced in the last marketing season were addressed to ensure farmers are not disturbed for the next farming season.
