MULENGA SATA RETIRES FROM ACTIVE POLITICS

Former State House Deputy Minister Mulenga Sata announced yesterday that he has decided to retire from active Politics so that he concentrates on farming activities.

Mulenga Sata once served as a councillor for Kabulonga Ward under PF and later on as Mayor of Lusaka before he was nominated by President Edgar Lungu as MP and subsequently appointed Deputy of Lusaka Province.

Within a year, Mr Sata was transferred in the same capacity and served as State House Deputy Minister a position he resigned from to join the Opposition UPND.

  1. Once tasted sweet without sweat being participant in politics as practiced in Zambia better not to say retire but going to hibernate for once you wake up the story may be different!
