The Kasama Magistrates’ Court has acquitted a 49-year-old Head-Teacher of Mungwi’s Chibele Primary School in a case in which he was accused of touching a named pupil’s private parts.

This is in a matter in which Emmanuel Siluyeye was facing one count of indecent assault after he allegedly touched private parts of a Grade Six pupils aged 16 years on 6th October, 2016.

Magistrate Joe Samboko acquitted Siluyeye Thursday when the matter came up for judgment after the State proved the case beyond all reasonable doubt.

Earlier, during trial, the girl never testified that she was touched on her private parts thereby giving a contradictory testimony to the one she gave to the police.

She had told police that Siluyeye dragged her to his house and tore her clothes in a bid to have sexual intercourse with her but ended up touching her private parts.
