5FM Radio has established that a MAN hacked by machete carrying Patriotic Front Cadres is alive contrary to social media stories that he died yesterday due to injuries he suffered on Tuesday this week.
He was a victim of mistaken identity at Levy Mall where he had gone to find out his fate regarding his employment status with Arm Safety Security Company.
Apparently at the time of the ordeal, he had been laid off a month ago, on charges of not reporting back for work on time at the completion of his one month leave.
SIBESO KUFEKISA sustained injuries on his two arms, facial and leg wounds such that he is unable to walk thereby failing to fulfill his role as a breadwinner in his young family with a five months ago baby boy.
He spoke to our staffer MIKE SICHULA narrating that he has been receiving calls regarding his reported death.
Mr. KUFEKISA added that some of his distant family members had even started mourning when the fake news reached them as far as Western Province.
The victim is a resident of one of John Laing Compound, one of Lusaka’s densely populated settlements.
And Mr. KUFEKISA has sent a message to the patriotic front calling on the top leadership to curb acts of political violence.
