CHIPOLOPOLO NAME FINAL 23-MAN SQUAD TO FACE CONGO BRAZZAVILLE

Zambia Senior National football team coach George Lwandamina has named his final 23-man squad to face Congo Brazzaville in a 2017AFCON Group E Qualifier back-to-back fixture on 23rd and 27th march,2016.

Nine(9) foreign-based players which include Stoppilla Sunzu,Kennedy Mweene and Captain Rainford Kalaba has also seen the return of South African based Davies Nkausu.

2015 Zambia MTN/FAZ Super league young player of the year Conlyde Luchanga is the only striker on the 13-man locally-based players list which is lead by experienced Chris Katongo,Isaac Chansa and 2016CHAN impressive goalkeeper Jacob Banda.

Meanwhile,Chisamba Lungu who is recovering from injury is the only foreign based player missing.

Others missing from the initial provisional squad include Charles Zulu,George Chilufya(both Zanaco),Donashano Malama(Nkana),Dauti Musekwa,Mwape Mwelwa (both Zesco),Mwila Phiri,Adamson Mulao (both Green Eagles),Lawrence Mulenga,Solomon Sakala(both Kabwe wariors) and Patson Daka (Power Dynamos).

Newly acquired Nkana defender Chris Munthali who was impressive at 2016CHAN is still saving a 2months ban from all football activities till April 10th.
