Former VEEP joins UPND

Former Republican Vice President Lupando Mwape has joined the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND).
And Mr. Mwape who supported President Edgar Lungu in the 20th January 2015 presidential election says the country is in intensive care under the PF Government.
He says the ruling party does not deserve to be returned to power in the August 11 elections.
The former Vice President announced his defection to the UPND at a media briefing in Lusaka today, where he was welcomed to the party by UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema.
Others who have joined the UPND are former Gender deputy and Milanzi Member of Parliament Rose Banda and the husband to Lands Minister Christabel Ngimbu,Brian Ngimbu.
