UTH records 1, 182 defilement cases from January to October 2015

The University Teaching Hospital has recorded a total of 1,182 cases of defilement and sexual abuse from January to October this year.
UTH Public Relations Officer Mwenya Mulenga has told Qfm News that regrettably the number of defilement and sexual abuse cases are still on increase.
Mr. Mulenga adds that UTH has also been conducting Cervical Cancer Screening on the victims of such cases.
Meanwhile Mr. Mulenga says the ongoing rehabilitation works at the University Teaching Hospital have reached an advanced stage.
He points out that works at the Filter clinic have progressed and will be completed in the next few months.
Mr. Mulenga says the rehabilitation of the roads has been completed and will soon be he handed over to the ministry of Health.
