PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri has urged the Anti Corruption Commission – ACC- to start investigations into allegations that Post Newspaper Reporter Funga Mukosha was offered a bribe.

Ms Phiri says the person being accused is not a Government official but a mere Board chairman of Indeni Oil Refinery.

Meanwhile, Ms Phiri has disclosed that six girls have been arrested for purporting to be fundraising for the ruling party.

Ms Phiri says the girls in question were fundraising in Lusaka on Monday.

And Ms Phiri says a Mr. Nathan Phiri of Chawama in Lusaka has been expelled from the PF with immediate effect for purporting to be in charge of mobilisation.

Ms Phiri has also called on PF members to start campaigning for 2016 because the Central Committee has already approved President Edgar Lungu as a candidate.

Ms Phiri was speaking when she met the PF Lusaka Provincial leadership at the PF Secretariat in Lusaka on Tuesday.
