Edgar Lungu returns from Luapula Province

President Edgar Lungu has returned  from Luapula Province where he had launched the Zambia Army Marine Unit in Nchelenge District .

President Lungu’s Presidential Zambia Air force(ZAF) Jet touched down at City Airport at exactly  19: 09 hours July 26th.

Vice President Inonge Wina , defence and security chiefs and other senior  government officials received the President.

Mr Lungu, who was clad in Zambia Army regalia and in a jovial mood, proceeded to his Presidential vehicle soon after exchanging greetings with defence Chiefs and other senior government officials.

 

The head of state however did not want to talk to journalists who were geared to ask  him probing questions affecting the nation.

 

The President while in in Nchelenge district,  addressed residents of Isokwe Island on Lake Mweru as this is part of securing the water bodies in the Province.

 

Mr. Lungu was  accompanied by Cabinet Ministers , Deputy Ministers, Senior Government officials and staff from the Country’s defence and security wings.

 

Also in company of the Head of State was Bwana Mukubwa  area Member of Parliament Emmanuel Chenda.
