Esther Phiri rematch set for September

Zambian Boxer, Esther Phiri will face Sandra Almeida of South Africa in a rematch scheduled for 12 September this year.

This comes after Esther/Sandra fight ended on a controversial note earlier in March at Government Complex in Lusaka.

The fight was halted in the 3rd round after Esther’s opponent Sandra  suffered a deep cut on her left eye.

The upcoming match will be held at  Mulungushi Conference Centre under a budget of K700 000.

Best Western Hotel has come on board again pledging K150 000.
