Man axed over wife

A 28-YEAR-OLD man of Mucheleka village in Chief Chipalo’s area in Luwingu has allegedly axed another man to death on suspicion that he was having an affair with his wife.
Northern Province deputy commissioner of police Alfred Nawa said in an interview yesterday that the incident happened between 20:00 hours on Sunday and 01:00 hours on Monday.
Mr Nawa named the deceased as Mulenga Chunswe aged between 32 and 35 while the suspect has been identified as Erick Chipasha.
“Chipasha allegedly found Mr Chunswe chatting with his wife in the middle of the night and axed him to death. He is on the run but police have launched a manhunt for him,” Mr Nawa said.-ZambiaDailyMail
