Mwata Kazenbe of the Lunda speaking people of Mwansabombwe District says he is not happy with people wishing President Edgar Lungu bad health.
Bangwe Naviley reports that the Mwata says it is clear that some stories carried in some publications suggest that some people are happy with President Lungu’s illness.
He says the people of Mwansabombwe are happy with Mr. Lunngu’s leadership and has since wished him well.
The Mwata was speaking at his palace in Mwansabombwe District when Health Deputy Minister Chitalu Chilufya paid a courtesy call on him.
He says the stories being published are disappointing because even advanced democracies have respect for the presidency.

The Mwata says political parties that are focusing on the President’s health are simply de-campaigning themselves.
And MMD National Youth Secretary Bowman Lusambo has castigated Mumbwa MP Brian Chituwo and Lubasenshi MP Patrick Mucheleka over what he terms as unfair comments on the health of president Edgar Lungu.
Mr. Lusambo says the two lawmakers should realize that President Lungu was elected by the majority Zambians and therefore deserves all the respect and support from all people including the opposition leaders.
He says democracy in Zambia is fast growing and that politics of name calling should be avoided at all costs by all political players.
Mr. Lusambo who is also MMD Die Hard youth wing coordinator also urged the two members of parliament to reflect on their roles and contribution to Zambia as a whole as they prepare for the 2016 general elections. He said this in a statement to ZNBC news in Lusaka.
