Political activist Dante Saunders has alerted Zambia’s new president Edgar Lungu to be ready for criticism now that he has been inaugurated.
Mr. Saunders says this is especially that Mr. Lungu has indicated his willingness to be criticised by the people.
He has told Qfm News by telephone that Mr. Lungu will in this respect be held accountable to the promises he has made to the Zambian people as presented in his inaugural speech.
Mr. Saunders states that President Lungu should also be mindful of what the people of Zambia have already said they want to see in their new constitution which he has promised to deliver.
He says people want among other things to see a provision in the new constitution that will allow the recalling of non performing Members of Parliament and reduction of the powers of the republican president.
