Transparency International Zambia says it’s sharing of the information on the election results received from constituencies that have been duly declared by the Electoral Commission of Zambia is for purposes of promoting transparency in the presidential elections.
TIZ Vice president Joseph Kalungu in a statement says his organisation has not speculated any Parallel Voter Tabulation (PVT) results today but has instead been relying on the officially declared results from constituencies.
Mr Kalungu has advised members of the public not to be misled by any wrong statements attributed to Transparency International Zambia.
He has since encouraged members of the public interest in the TIZ Parallel Voter Tabulation to visit the TIZ website www.tizambia.org.com and the Facebook page for correct factual information.
Mr Kalungu has however stated that it is only the Electoral Commission of Zambia that will officially declare the results of the presidential elections.
He has since appealed to Zambians to remain patient as they await the declaration of results by the ECZ.
