Mwinilunga , January 9th, 2015, ZANIS —- Acting President Guy Scott has urged people of Mwinilunga district in North-western province to vote for PF President Edger Lungu in the fourth-coming January 20th presidential election.
Dr Scott says Mwinilunga residents must not think of continuity by giving a chance to complete its five
year team mandate.
He said by voting for Mr Lungu it will give the Party and government to finish implementing all developmental projects it has embarked on countrywide.
ZANIS reports that the Acting President was speaking in Mwinilunga district today during a public rally held at the Freedom square.
Speaking earlier PF Secretary General Davies Chama said people in the area must not be cheated by the opposition political parties that it will not bring development once it retains power in the January 20th
Mr Chama said it is now a well-known fact that people in the province have realized the mistake they made of voting for the opposition political parties and instead have started supporting the PF as evident in recently held parliamentary and local government by-elections.
He assured a sizeable gathering that the PF will not disappoint the people in the province once it retain power as it will ensure meaningful development is attained in the region citing the on-going project of connecting seven districts to the National electricity grid which he
said will transform the lives in the area.
The Acting President was in Mwinilunga today sand inspected the power project of connecting the district to the National electricity grid and held a private meeting with Traditional leaders before holding a public rally at freedom square.
