The Christian Coalition has expressed happiness by the leadership qualities exhibited so far by PF presidential aspirant Edgar Lungu.
The Christian Coalition says Mr Lungu has impressed them during this period of differences among politicians.
In a statement released to ZANIS in Lusaka this evening, Christian Coalition deputy president Mulilo Mbaso said Mr Lungu has shown commitment to ensuring that the PF members work together for the sake of continuity.
Bishop Mbaso has also urged Christians to pay attention to all political messages coming from the eleven (11) presidential candidates in order to put in office a leader who will continue with the late President Michael Sata’s developmental projects.
He has since commended Mr Lungu for campaigning on the principle of continuity with change stating that it was a clear demonstration of humbleness and loyal leadership.
Bishop Mbaso has urged the electorates to honour Mr Sata by voting for Mr Lungu because that is the leader he trusted.
“The late president trusted him, the PF has trusted him and given him to the Zambian people for continuity up to 2016”, he said.
Zambia goes to the polls this month on January 20 to elect a new Republican President following the death of President Sata last October and eleven presidential candidates are participating in the elections.
