Vote Edgar for clear development roadmap – Scott
Ndola, January 2, 2015, ZANIs–Acting President Guy Scott has urged the people of Ndola to vote for the Patriotic Front (PF) candidate Edgar Lungu in the January 20, presidential elections for continuity of development.
Dr. Scott said Mr. Lungu is the only candidate who has a clear developmental road map for the people of Zambia in line with the PF manifesto.
ZANIS reports that the Acting President said the PF would ensure continuity of the developmental projects in line with the vision of the late president Michael Sata.
Dr. Scott said this when he addressed rallies in Mushili, Chipulukusu and Chifubu townships in Ndola this afternoon.
And Dr. Scot expressed happiness with the support the PF has continued to receive from the people on the Copperbelt province.
Dr Scott further urged the electorates to turn up in big numbers to vote and not to engage in illicit activities that would distract them from voting wisely.
At the same rallies, Local Government Minister Emmanuel Chenda urged the people of Ndola not to waste time by voting people who have no vision for the country.
Mr. Chenda who is also Bwana Mkubwa Member of Parliament said the PF had demonstrated its commitment of uplifting the lives of the people in the last three years that it has been in office.
And Youth and Sport Minister Chishimba Kambwili urged the people of Ndola to be alert with other political parties who are promising them what the PF has already accomplished.
Mr. Kambwili who is also Roan Member of Parliament said opposition political candidates should instead bring out their own developmental agenda which they intend to implement for the people of Zambia.
Agriculture Minister Wilbur Simuusa said government has begun the process of paying all the famers in the country.
Mr. Simuusa who is also Nchanga Member of Parliament in Chingola further expressed happiness with the growing agricultural activities on the Copperbelt province.
