Zambia coach Honour Janza says he is pleased with what the little he seen in training so far from new boys Lubambo Musonda and Aaron Katebe.

Janza handed Lubambo and Katebe their first competitive call-ups for Zambia’s final two 2015 Africa Cup Group F qualifiers coming up on Saturday away to Mozambique and next Wednesday at home against Cape Verde.

Lubambo and Katebe trained with the team for the first time during day-two of training camp on Monday afternoon in Lusaka after arriving from their respective clubs abroad earlier that same day.

“They have just arrived and I cannot say much but from the look of things they are ready, they look set,” Janza said.

“These players are playing regularly where they are coming from. They have some fatigue and stress from travelling but we feel they will fit in and adopt quickly.”

Midfielder Lubambo plies his trade in Armenia at Ulisses FC and returns to the team for the first time since the June 6 friendly against Japan in Florida that Zambia lost 4-3.

Defender Katebe plays for FC Platinum in Zimbabwe and receives his second call up after playing in the October 25 friendly against Cote d’Ivoire that ended 1-1 at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
