–The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) has described the Late President Michael Sata as a man of the people.

CCZ General Secretary, Susan Matale, said the late President Sata executed his duties beyond his personal interest for the benefit of Zambians.

Rev Matale said the passing on of President Sata is a moment for the Church in Zambia to actively preach the message of peace and harmony.

She has since advised all Zambians and the Church at large to actively contribute to the sending off of the late President Sata in a dignified way.

ZANIS Reports that Rev Matale said this at Government House in Lusaka after signing a book of condolences for the late President Sata.

And the Muslim Supreme Council of Zambia has joined the rest of the nation in morning the late Republican President, Michael Sata.

Council president, Suzyo Zimba, said the nation has been robbed of a man who had a serious developmental agenda for the country.

Mr Zimba expressed hope that the late President’s developmental vision will continue to excel.
