Sata described as a selfless leader

–Outgoing Zambezi District Education Board Secretary (DEBS), Trifornia Tembo, says she will remember the late President Michael Sata as a selfless leader who never kept grudges even among his fellow politicians.

Ms Tembo says President Sata always made peace with everyone who offended him.

She told ZANIS in Zambezi today that she received the death of President Sata with deep shock because she had hope that he would return to Zambia as he always did when he went for his medical
reviews.

Ms Tembo said Mr Sata would be remembered in the teaching fraternity as a leader who improved the conditions of service of teachers today.

She said teachers in rural areas are now able to buy expensive vehicles because of the good salaries that they receive.

Ms Tembo noted that President Sata was a true Catholic worshiper and, therefore, should be mourned in a Christian way.
