The Zambia Anglican Council (ZAC) has urged Zambians to mourn President Michael Sata in a dignified manner.
The council said Zambians should honour the memory of President Sata by mourning him in peace and unity.
This is contained in a statement issued to ZANIS in Lusaka today and signed by five bishops from the Zambia Anglican Council.
The five Bishops are Archbishop of Central Africa and Bishop of Northern Zambia Archbishop Albert Chama, Bishop of Central Zambia Derek Kamukwamba, Bishop of Luapula Robert Mumbi, Bishop of Eastern Zambia William Mchombo and Bishop of Lusaka David Njovu.
And the bishops have called on the people of Zambia to continue praying for Acting President Guy Scott as he oversees the affairs of the nation during this trying moment.
