Police impounds a Tanzanian truck with suspected Mukula logs in Isoka District


Isoka, October 9, 2014. ZANIS — POLICE in Isoka District of Muchinga Province have intercepted and impounded a Tanzanian Truck belonging to
Famari Investment loaded with Mukula logs.

ZANIS reports that Muchinga Province Deputy Police Commissioner Bonny Kapeso has confirmed the incident in an interview in Chinsali today.


Mr. Kapeso said the incident happened on Tuesday this week around 21:00hrs.

He  said the truck loaded with Mukula which was heading to Tanzania was intercepted and impounded at Isoka Police Check Point.


The Deputy Police Commissioner said that the driver of the truck registration number T932 BYF and trailer number T885 BSD, identified
as John Robert aged 40 is on the run.


Mr. Kapeso further said that the lorry boy Adam Isaya aged 22 has since been apprehended and he is in police custody.
