Patriotic Front pledges to protect street vendors in Kasama.

The ruling Patriotic Front in Northern Province has pledged to protect street vendors in Kasama.

Commenting on a statement issued by the Kasama Municipal Council through its town clerk, Maseka Njapau of moving all street vendors to designated places; PF regional secretary Everist Chela told Mano News today that the remarks were detrimental to his party’s governance.

Mr. Chela warned that his party will not sit idle and watch its people being victimized.

However, Mr. Chela was happy to note that the town clerk clarified that the move will be done gradually and with the engagement of stakeholders.
