18 year old defiler committed to high court

A Namwala Magistrate has committed a juvenile and an 18 year old man to the High Court for sentencing for defiling a girl under the age of 16 years.

 

Magistrate Peter Mungala committed Joseph Silumesi Nalishebo aged 18 and the juvenile aged 16 to the high court for sentencing after they were found guilty of committing the offence defiling the minor.

 

Particulars of the offence are that Nalishebo and his co accused on unknown dates but between April 1 and 30, 2013 in Namwala District of the Southern Province, jointly and whilst acting together, had unlawful carnal knowledge of a child, contrary to section 138(1)of the Penal code Chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia .

 

The duo both of Kamonwa village of Chief Shezongo of Itezhi- tezhi district were committed to the high court for sentencing.
